Rosemary and Rays' Koi Pond construction
Having lost my mother on 23rd March 2009 I decided I would rehome her beloved Koi Carp, my only problem was I had NO Pond to put them in !
Rosemary and I designed a pond and after plenty of conversations with people in the know especially Avenue Fisheries of Wyboston Beds, a design was decided upon.
This is a little blog of progress so far.....
Ben informs me I have to mention that he has assisted me in the building of the pond.
The pond has now been running since Nov 09 even though I only managed to get the proper filter system working at the beggining of May 10.
I still have to complete the waterfall surround due to me snapping my achilles tendon I have been unable to carry out any work recently. Additionally, I still have to complete the door on the pump house and am currently awaiting a quote for a roller shutter door.

On completion it should amount to 4500 gallons.
